“Breakfast is the most important meal in your day” – whether you heard this from your mom, your dietitian, or your physician it must be the best advice they ever gave you – and dare to say NO! Keeping that in mind you better know that NOT all breakfasts were created equal! Is your mind running peanut butter? Omlette? Salmon Bagel? or Museli? Hang on !!
Have any type of breakfast and you can either have energy all day or constantly look for a cup of coffee to stay awake. You can as well either have a controlled appetite or feel like having sweets all day. Which one will you choose? Yes! It is that crucial. I have listed some ideas to the best morning meals ever (yes ever! and you will thank me for this) to kick start your day.
Old Fashioned Cheese or Labneh Sandwich with a twist of course
Ingredients

Whole wheat bread
Veggies that go along like tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, and mint
A drizzle of olive oil for the labneh or a few olives for either labneh or cheese
This combination of good proteins, natural fats, good carbs and fibers is a complete menu for a perfect morning. Satisfied? Then you can stop here or just keep scrolling!!!
Who Doesn’t Like Cereal and Milk?? Who?
Ingredients
Bran flakes or oatmeal
Cow’s milk or vegan types of milk like soy, rice, or almond milk
Optional: almonds or strawberries (because they are low in sugar)
This fiber rich meal will keep your sugar stable and your mood elevated for several hours. It’s great if you are on a hormonal roller coaster.
A Royal Omelette, As Royal as it Sounds
Ingredients
2 whole eggs
Whole wheat bread
Boiled spinach or sautéed zucchini
Olives or avocados
Optional 1 oz of cheese if your daily caloric allowance is high
This rich breakfast will not only make you feel that you are having a hotel breakfast (we all need that feeling from time to time), but it will also help you face the hardest days with a lot of strength.
Yogurt Pudding with Fruits and Nuts
Ingredients
Natural yogurt (stay away from packaged flavored yogurt…puulllzzzz)
Fresh strawberries, blueberries or blackberries
Almonds or coconut sprinkles
This perfect mix of proteins, carbs, fats and fibers is all it takes to have a quick and rewarding breakfast.
My FINAL TIP! to you is to keep your choices natural and stay away from processed or modified foods
I hope you get a head start on all your days! Have breakfast like a king remember! Oh Queen just in case. Ta Daaaaa
